Collective dwelling in Prague

The hybrid block is not only introducing a new kind of dwelling in Prague but also activating an empty zone that was subsisting without any use of quality. It joins all existing and built elements together by adapting form to context, and shape to human scale and flow. The street level is connected to the core of the project ; an elevated pedestrian walkway which brings easy access to the program and views on what is happening in the area. The two main buildings are located on the corners of the urban block following the dynamic crossroads, and consist of the residence of collective housing and its cultural center where most important activities take place.
