RED BROOD

The area is located in the very center of the Červený Vrch housing estate, which has been located in Prague's Vokovice, below Červený vrch, since the 1960s. The then complex of prefabricated apartment buildings was supplemented to its current form in several phases, which led to a significant fragmentation of the development, which lacks public space. However, the most significant division of the housing estate is caused by Evropská třída, leading from Dejvice to Václav Havel Airport, which divides the territory into two halves with its four streams. The plot rests on Evropská třída in the place of a tram and bus stop and there is a shopping center Šárka, which has been fading for the last decade. This combination creates the potential to create a functional public space.
