HUT

Annotation

The town of Středokluky, which is located near the Prague - Ruzina airport, nevertheless gives a village impression. The city is not only burdened by noise from the airport, but is also located in close proximity to the D7 motorway. So my goal was to help this city alleviate the sound load. A building that is connected to the surrounding landscape and helps block noise generated on the highway. This object is inspired by huts, a conical shape, which is achieved when folding wooden logs, which rest on each other towards the center. There are several of these cones for more effective noise blocking and thus form a complex, as another helper for noise blocking is the mantle of these cones, which is covered with thatch.
