Mlada boleslav cave pavilion

This Project faces the lack of direct access to the classic castle of Mlada Boleslav from the lower part of the hill. Considering the heritage of architecture carved into the sandstone of the lands of Mlada Boleslav, this project proposes the introduction of a cave that goes through the hill, right under the castle, in order to provide a direct connection to an elevator that goes directly to the main square of the castle. The creation of this cave would provide a public space to the city, with multifunctional purposes. It would work as a pavilion just carved under the most relevant spot of the city, allowing the citizens to interact with space in a great diversity of forms.
