BANKS OF THE RIVER VRCHLICE

Annotation

Today, the Vrchlice River in the town of Kutna Hora reminds us of a small watercourse, which has only become a reminder of the once important medium of economic and cultural life in the town. The water here ensured the functioning of the mills and the valley was an important transport route. Today, the banks of Vrchlice are hidden behind dense greenery and free areas are used for car traffic and parking. However, the immediate vicinity of the historic city center and the views of the green hills with vineyards and architectural monuments offer great potential for transforming the valley into a pleasant recreational area.
