Vlašim urbanism

The small Central Bohemian town was marked by a massive reconstruction in the 1970s. The original small-scale development was replaced by prefabricated houses that do not respect the original urbanism of the city. The strict structure of the panel housing estate is suddenly wedged into the streets of the city, which have been gradually shaped over the centuries. Despite all this, the focus of Vlašim's life is right here. In the design of urbanism, I try to look for fragments and traces of the original city and give non-articulated places both shape and meaning.
