Stream of the stream

This piece is a part of final group project regarding the town of Lysá nad Labem - The relationship between city and the riverside. The aim of this project was to understand and remodel the landscape surrounding the river, so that both people and animals may use it alike. This particular part of the project deals with the revitalization of the upper flow of the Doubravský stream, which is being used to restore the original water meadow based on the geomorphology of the surrounding terrain. The revitalization itself should serve as a place for recreation and improve the connection between surrounding villages for both pedestrians and cyclists. On top of that it offers a solution against the danger from the side of erosion of the soil by using suitable structures that support retention.
