Solid Palmovka

Our task is to design a newly emerging city district, which spreads over the territory of today's Palmovka. The district is surrounded by the Libeň Bridge, Rohanský Island and Sokolovská Street. The aim of the assignment is to fill the area primarily with block buildings, which will be inserted between the existing historic buildings. The place of my house is located in the southwestern part of the area. As the house is connected to the historic rental workshops of the city of Strasbourg, I decided to incorporate this historical concept of rentable premises into the concept of my house. So SOLID was created.
