Duplex Housing Palmovka

The assignment of the studio work was to create a block of apartment buildings in the Palmovka locality, where a new Pentagon design was created within several studios. Each of the students had the task of designing one house in a block in order to create a meaningful unit. Within the block, there was also a proposal for shared parking under the entire block. The apartment building consists mainly of duplex apartments. On the west side, there are one-storey C-shaped flats. Thanks to the maisonette flats, the corridors to the flats are located every third floor so the space is used to the maximum. Another advantage is that each apartment has access to the south and north facades and therefore not only daylight but also sunshine is provided.
