Krásná - Exhibition and Information Centre - Extension of the Old Rectory

This project in the village of Krásná offers to inhabitants the possibility to have a place to gather and to welcome tourists. An extension is added to the Old Rectory in front of the Church. This building proposes a ground floor dedicated to welcome with a coffee place, an information bar and restrooms. In the Upper Floor, an exhibition place is created, joining the two buildings together across a corridor. The path of the exhibition goes from the wooden high ceiling space of the extension to the succession of old rooms with views on the landscape. The wooden pattern of the extension is connected to the shingle facade of the Rectory. Around the project, the land is laid out to allow easy parking from the road, outdoor gathering space and garden for both visitors and inhabitants to enjoy.
