Annotation

The subject of the design is a building in block F10 in the newly emerging locality called Seestadt Aspern in Vienna, which is being built according to a master plan designed by the Gehl architects studio. Object consists of 30 modules of 2 different types. The modules are shifted relative to each other and it creates space that is used either in the form of a loggia or as a semi-private space on the porch. Thanks to the sliding partitions/elements, the individual modules can be adapted so that they can be easily made into apartments with either one or two bedrooms. At the same time it is possible to remove partitions and create one large, spacious open space. This concept is suitable, for example, for young people, students such as a form of roommate or for young star- ting families.
