Fire station, Kouřim

Fire station for small city Kouřim. The idea was to create a modern space for all requirements of a fire station in combination with an education-friendly space for kids. The concept consists of 3 same volumes. One of them is a garage for fire trucks, one has an open space for gatherings and that the last one contains all secondary spaces of the building. All put together effectively. Wood, as the main material, is used in interior or exterior, as well as a construction material. Facades are then enriched by polycarbonate facade on two main volumes of the building.
