ON THE EDGE

The task of the studio work was to create a block of apartment buildings in the Palmovka locality, where a new Pentagon design was created within several studios. Each of the students had the task of designing one house in a block in order to create a meaningful and functional whole. The aim of the proposal is to restore a neglected part of the city and use its potential. Underground block parking is designed under the entire block, which connects all apartment buildings. At the same time, the apartment buildings in the block are connected by a courtyard with greenery, intended for relaxation or entertainment. My project is an apartment building with an active ground floor, which has three facades and is located in the northeastern part of the block.
