Apartment building (Hyphen) Mělník

The apartment building that is located in Mělník next to busy road is a reaction to deficient places for living in the city. The urbanism we solved intends to create more attractive space the houses create, build new structure that simultaneously follows the current structure. This apartment building is a height dominant within the urbanism. It can create anchor point for the whole area. Creating more spaces for meeting people was the main concept because of the rising problem of loneliness. This thought is reflected in the mass of the building that recedes in the ground floor, that invites people to the park, that lies in the heart of the urbanism and identically retreated mass in the highest floor and creating the terrace.
