Krennhaus

Prague, Old Town Square, is now becoming an important hotspot of Charles University. In addition to the new auditorium, there is a proposal of new housing for teachers, guests and important officials of this institution that is taking after the original layout of Krenn's house. The etho of the building are two volumes with different height. The lower part of the house, oriented to the square, contains the study rooms and representational spaces of the Rector of Charles University. The higher volume, accessible only to the inhabitants of the flats, offers the necessary privacy in an exposed place.
