INDOOR SWIMMING POOL - VISTA MOTOL

The swimming pool design is situated in the VISTA sports complex in the Motol district of Prague. The swimming pool building is partially integrated into the landscape. A 25m outdoor pool with 3 lanes, a pool with slides, an auditorium, a bar, loungers and a storage area complete the indoor pool complex. The pool building stands out for its structural design. It consists of two independent supporting structures. Metal trusses support the glass roof of the building. The rest of the structure is carried by glued timber construction. A spider glass system was used for the facades. This amount of glass makes the building appear transparent, the interior and exterior functions are visually connected.
