COLIVING PRAGOVKA

Kuba Doležal I perceive the Pragovka area as a meeting point of people who see the world in a different light compared to others. Once typical blue collar quarter draws the attention of modern artists, fashion designers and photographers nowadays. Such image ultimately led me to designing alternative form of living sought after by the residents which fits perfectly into the neighbourhood – Co-living Pragovka. Typical long halls we usually find in housing for the young were intentionally left out as they evoke the feeling of an asylum rather than proper home. The complex consists of two identical objects. Each of these is formed by four towers of four floors which are briged inbetween by the 2nd floor.
