City of Duchcov

Between the Ore Mountains and the Central Bohemian Highlands lies a brown coal basin and several "craters" are excavated in it. The largest is the Bílina quarry, the surroundings of which we dealt with this semester in cooperation with landscape architects. After solving the concept of reclamation of the quarry area together, I dealt with the interface of the town of Duchcov with the future landscape. The goal was to connect the city as much as possible and open it back to the landscape.
