Skryje Scouting Base

In forest of the Skryjská jezírka (Skryje ponds) nature reserve in the Křivoklát region has been a Scout cabin for 90 years. Merits of this building are intimacy and melancholy, proximity to nature and distance from civilization, while limited space and lack of daylight are its weaknesses. The intention is to develop the function of the log cabin into a winter scout base. The designed objects of the clubhouse, workshop, sauna and footbridge bring room for play, learning, relaxation and experiencing nature. The cabin is preserved in its current form. The expressively minimalist design consists of materials similar to the log cabin - wood and folded sheet metal.
