Multifunctional hall in Lovosice

Annotation

In a joint assignment, we decided to design a multifunctional hall in the typical Czech town of Lovosice, which would be able to satisfy the needs of the cultural and attractive part of life in the region. The main inspiration is the dressings by Piet Mondrian. The compositional solution of the façade is orthogonal division and space division using active colors from Mondrian: red, yellow, blue, white and black. The heart of the whole building is a hall with a capacity of up to 300 people. Multifunctionality and flexibility are achieved by means of sliding partitions and a large space. Flexibility is also ensured by the colored triple glazing, which adorns the space thanks to the sunlight, which creates the uniqueness of the interior depending on the season and time of day.
