REVITALISATION OF THE HOŘOVICE CINEMA

The project deals with the restoration of a non-functional dilapidated building of a former cinema. It is a building from 1929, located near Palacky square in the centre of Hořovice town. The design tries to preserve the original appearance of the house but the interior is changed according to current needs. Opposite the cinema, there is also renovated an apartment building for employees and the cinema administrator. The aim of the project is to restore the operation of the cinema, ensure its economic self-sufficiency and at the same time give the inhabitants of the city the desired culture within reach of their place of residence.
