Annotation
The aim of the analytical part of my diploma project was to assess Jižní Město in various contexts and look at its turbulent history and specific genius loci. The analysis reveals many interesting points for the proposal - the inspiring ideas of the original plan, surprisingly positive opinions of locals or many common features of otherwise disparate public spaces. The deeper one deals with Jižní Město, the clearer the untapped potential of Czech housing estates becomes.
