VESNA: Outdoor scene at the embankment

Bc. Lucie Znamenáčková

Annotation

VESNA is an outdoor multifunctional scene on the Vltava River with a complex design of the embankment and waterfront area. The stage, with a capacity of 4 thousand spectators, has an elongated free-flowing shape like a river, which delimits the canal to the embankment and connects it with 3 footbridges. On the embankment, there are ground-floor buildings in 3 sectors, mainly for catering, which have glazed facades and green walkable roofs, thanks to which the embankment will be relaxed. Part of the project is a water tunnel, which connects the main backstage of the underwater scene to the stage, which is then connected to the auditorium by a sunken path in the water. The part of the scene, facing the embankment, is lined with a colonnade and there are spiral staircases at both ends, too.
