COMPACT NYMBURK
Annotation
In the recent years the czech town of Nymburk tended to develop and stretch along the Elbe river. If left alone, Nymburk would become an unsystematic stretched urban sprawl. We wanted to prevent this and help Nymburk become a compact city. In the future we see Nymburk composed of 4 distinct parts that work together as an integrated whole. We also propose a new bypass to the west of the city. This will not only help with the traffic, but the bypass will become a distinct border between the city and the landscape and along with the tracks in the north and the development in the south will give the town a clear shape.
