CONNECTION

The aim of this studio work was to explore the possibilities and directions of connecting the Vestec landscape backbone to the surrounding villages and their cadastral territory. To create a network and to design a landscape park in the vicinity for recreation of the inhabitants, education of children, hiking and cycling. In the analytical part, I mainly dealt with the connection to Prague. The solved area thus became the catchment area of ​​the Kunratický brook, which also includes the Olšanský brook, which springs in the southern part of the village Vestec and on the border with the cadastral area of ​​Jesenice. And so the idea arose to create a green ribbon along both streams - Olšanský and Kunratický.
