Smetanovo waterfront

The Smetanovo waterfront leads from the Legion Bridge around Novotného lávka to Křižovnické náměstí to the level of Charles Bridge. From the Smetanovo waterfront opens a legendary view of the Prague Castle, which is very fond of both tourists and locals. A new waterfront could interfere with this, and it was decided to create a two-level waterfront. The key detail in the concept was the bend of the shore line. The line is perpendicular to the Prague Castle. It was decided to pull this line and create three zones. In the two side zones there are stairs for seating and green areas. In the middle is an island with a restaurant. From here you can also enjoy a magnificent view of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.
