Archeological Museum Bastion

The Archeological museum Bastion was created to give the area around Mariánské hradby some new spirits. The historical value of that place and its location helped to my idea to design there a museum. It is a singe-storey building accessable from the street Jelení and also from Marie Terezie park. My idea preserves the integrity of the original bastion wall and it tries to use it and to give it some new purpose. Topic of circles can get found inside - its meaning of integrity and unity, equally the circles intersections that symbolize blending of historical periods and functions. It is possible to divide the project to 3 functional parts - exposition, research, administration - in which intersection can get found a small space devoted to the human history as the center of the project.
