Gallery bastion XIV

For my proposal I chose the St. Wenceslas Bastion, which, thanks to its proximity to the Castle, has the potential to be integrated into the "cultural quarter" of the Lesser Town and the Old Town.Despite this advantageous location, the area is neglected and inaccessible.With my proposal, I am opening the Bastion to the public. The gallery building fills in the walls that remain after the bastion.I work with the slope of the terrain, and the ground floor of the building, is recessed below the surface. The recessed part of the gallery has a green roof, thus creating a park-like space with a view of Dejvice.The gallery spaces are illuminated by skylights.The two levels of the gallery are connected by a labyrinthine ramp.I have followed the concept of the labyrinth in the exhibition spaces.
