Community Center Střešovice

The concept was created in response to the surrounding terrain and the pond, which is located on the plot. The shape of the wave copies the contour lines, fits into the environment and at the same time corresponds with the pond. As the plot is on a slope and in the shape of a triangle, the mass of the building has an eastern façade receding and lightened by a glass façade that faces the main street. The building has a skeleton reinforced concrete structure and the facade is made of exposed concrete. The building has several functions, namely recreational, sports and cultural.
