Pub at a squirell

The design of the civic building on the corner plot owned by the owner of the Polička brewery is a beer hall for locals as well as tourists and offices. The crossroads that connects the Starohradská Gate and the Church of St. Jakub, offers a very attractive position in the historic center of the city for both uses. Due to the strong connection to the historical part of the city, I tried to maintain the basic principles of the surroundings, such as the volume of the building, or direct connection to neighboring buildings. But at the same time, I took the opportunity to use the elements of the building as modern architecture.
