Dental Clinic Veletržní

Proposal for a dental clinic on a triangular plot of land adjacent to the Stromovka shopping centre. The mass of the building is based on the shape of the plot and the requirement not to overshadow the existing apartment buildings. Above all, however, from the desire to integrate the building into the urban space by creating a small square towards the shopping centre. By bending the eastern façade, the entrance space is widened and the verticality of the building is increased. The piazzetta slightly opens and the position of the Sokol Hall, somewhat overshadowed by the new shopping centre, is strengthened. The composition of the façade reinforces the verticality of the building, and the use of coloured stucco plaster helps the building to blend in with the existing development.
