Manatee exhibit

The manatee, also called the "sea cow", is a herbivorous aquatic animal of considerable size, whose main activity of the day is grazing in shallow waters. However, this cute creature is still no where to be seen in the Czech Republic, and the project of their pavilion thus examines the very possibilities of manate breeding from the operational and economic point of view, taking into account the needs of animals and the desires of visitors in the Czech conditions. The project also includes a roof aquaponic salad farm, using ammonia produced by manatees themselves. The produced salad is used to feed manatees themselves, but also to other animals.
