Annotation

In the Czech Republic, a long-term care facility is a medical institution designed to treat and care for patients whose health condition no longer necessarily requires a hospital stay or whose health condition is not likely to improve. It should not be a place to pass away, but to go to get better and return home. The rooms are designed so that no bed is the worse tha the other and together they form the 3 foundationstones of the house. These communicate with each other through the south courtyard where the dining rooms are situated with loggias of all the wards. The intersections offer views to the neighbourhood from both sides, this visual connection provides further contact with the place. On the ground floor there are facilities for staff and public services.
