Restaurant Obora- ZOO Prague

The project addresses the design of a restaurant with a view and the possibility of accommodation on the site of today's Obora restaurant, which is located at the highest point of the Prague Zoo. The restaurant consists of a simple 2-storey mass, partially covered with greenery, which has perforated and glazed facades. The main element of the design is a footbridge, which winds like a ribbon in the area around the building and thus offers the visitor a wide view of the open countryside and at the same time a pleasant walk. To enhance the free space experience, boarding the footbridge begins with a contrasting short tunnel, accessible from a partially sunken solitary building, allowing the purchase of tickets and souvenirs.
