Airport

The airport in Velké Poříčí is situated on an open area on the place of the original airport, from which only the oldest hangar was preserved because of it's value. The intention of the project is to make the airport more accessible to the public and their interconnection. This is made possible by breaking the straight line of the entire site. The slant of the building to the runways is designed to be the best possible view of the landing and take-off airplanes. The addition of the last eastern hangar with the control tower, thus spatially completes the whole of the complex. The space created by the chamfering of the building serves as a meeting place for visitors and members of the aero club and for social events.
