Restaurant Obora - Prague ZOO

Our task was reconstuction of the restaurant Obora in the Prague ZOO and extencion of the pavilion for orangutans. Restaurant consist of two masses united by atrium and an observation tower. The restaurant is located in the first mass with kapacity for 50 people and has a view of the Prague and outdoor terrace with kapacity for 150 people. In the second mass, there are 3 apartments with accomodation and small shop with souvenirs. The two masses allows direct passage to the observation tower, from which we can get to green roof with the benches and bee hives for the restaurant purpose. Unifying element of the restaurant and the observation tower is a pine wood facade which keeps the character of this place.
