Self-watering planter drain solution

The regulation of the water level in the lower container of the self-watering planter is based on the principle of origami puzzles. The shape of the funnel consists of triangular walls and living hinges. It protrudes from the wall of the container and water can be poured through it. When it is necessary to drain the water, the funnel can simply be tilted so that the tip reaches the level of the bottom of the container. The entire self-watering pot can be made in only two molds and no additional parts are required. A suitable material for production is polypropylene.
