Apartment house and kindergarten Varhulíkové

The final design of the apartment house and kindergarten Varhulíková tries to follow the original development of the building of losses and finds. It is connected to it by a street line and gradually rises to the residential houses in U Vody Street. With its facade, it does not try to stand out in the street, it just fits into its surroundings. The classrooms of the two-class kindergarten, covered by a walking terrace serving the apartments on the 2nd floor, protrude into the courtyard from the ground of the building. The nursery itself is connected to the garden, and to the greenhouse, which is located in a kind of courtyard between the classrooms. In addition, the basic materials are two light glazed structures serving as the winter gardens of a studio apartment building.
