The picturesque historic town of Polička is the gateway to one of the most beautiful parts of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the Žďár Hills. Polička, situated at an altitude of 555 metres above sea level, offers a number of historical monuments, a rich cultural offer, a unique atmosphere of a town surrounded by medieval walls, all set in the beautiful countryside of the Highlands.
