Outskirts of the Old Town and the Old Town's riverside

The design of public spaces of the outskirts of the Bratislava Old Town and the riverside is based on the wider city transport context, which formed the starting point of the urban design of the area, which is affected by a existing traffic road which cuts off the riverside from the rest of the adjacent area. As part of the solution, in regards to the revival of sub-spaces, a set of interventions is proposed. The propositions are aimed at unifying the waterfront and at the same time supplementing its content. The proposal also includes the reorganization of the public spaces and the new design manual for surfaces of the Old Town suburbs.
