The aim of this work was to design a multi-level drainage system for self-irrigation plant pot. The main source of my inspiration was a folding travel bowl for dogs, which is made out of silicone. The bowl can be flattened thanks to the accordion-like folds, and this principle was the main element of my system. The silicone center connects a plant pot drainage with the plastic rod, which is then used to adjust the water levels inside a plant pot. This makes it possible, for example, to effectively controll the water level based on the current weather. The water level indicators are present on the side of the pot for easy control. The other side of the silicone cone is anchored to the base of the plant pot. The main advantage of this material is that it does not gradually degrade over time.
