Living in a tower

The aim of the proposal was to create a new development at the interface of the historic core and multi-storey apartment buildings. The proposal reflects the importance of the place and at the same time forms a significant height dominant. After the urban analysis, a proposal for the development of three solitary masses was created based on the composition of the surrounding development. The main idea was to improve the availability of housing by building starter apartments for young people. The three cylindrical masses are complemented by civic functions on the ground floor. The concept of the shape of the buildings is based on the apartments themselves. As part of the design, a small apartment module was created and its subsequent repetition created the functional house itself.
