Primary School Pohořelec

Pohořelec as an incomplete square in front of the Prague castle. The new house respects the historical layer, does not cover the functionalist building of the comprehensive school, keeps the street line and creates an space with trees, works with placement of the statue, wchich leads one to Keplerova street, to the school block formed by the elementary and secondary school. Principle of the atrium for the upper primary school-status, meeting; residential corridor for the lower primary school-playfulness, clarity. In the urban design, the house fundamentally steps into the existing Parléřova Street, thereby narrowing it and forming its edge. There is a merge of car and tram traffic, and pedestrians thus get more space throughout the whole square.
