Orchard behind the river Lužnice

How to replace the missing village square in Vlkov nad Lužnicí and at the same time fulfil the potential of the site around the former quarry? The proposal works with the refreshment of the tradition of public orchards that used to be part of the Czech countryside. At the same time, it offers the possibility of using the orchard as a meeting place and as acentre of the village. And instead of an empty gap between buildings, it creates a place for a blooming orchard...
