Radotín city center

There is a brownfield in the centre of Radotín which is defined by a railway tracks, a river and a shopping centre build in the 70s. It’s a place where not only barriers meet, but also different scales. From the south we have apartment buildings which have 11 floors, from the east we have factories from the beginning of 20th century, from the north there is a railway track and finally from the west we have the river behind which we can see small scale buildings. The civic amenities are very good in Prague 16. The only thing we can improve is to build a townhall which can focus all the necessary offices into one building, because they are scattered all around Radotín in different buildings right now. So that’s why I am designing a townhall along side with apartment houses in this area.
