Rehabilitation centre

The design of the rehabilitation center is based on the history of treatment in the area. With sensitive interventions, design opens up the mass of the hospital on the ground floor and connects the public spaces of the residence with the inner block. The new mass is connected to the historical building in the 2nd floor and runs over the entire inner block, on its corners there are lapidary masses that are embedded in the volume of the original building. The form reflects the rehabilitation path that guides the patient through the treatment processes. At the end of the cathartic journey, the patient emerges through ending form into the garden, where the process of psychological and physical treatment is combined.
