crematorium surroundings – the cycle of CHANGE
Annotation
Crematorium now exists only as a technical building, that looks like a car repair shop surrounded by shrubs and rests of orchard. The project tends to create a pleasant space, which can be visit both for dignifiedly take part with departed and for recreation, but with condition that these intents wouldn’t disturb each other. One of the basis of the project is an elegant wall, that hides the crematorium’s building. Then there is an idea of two worlds, bordered with a water ribbon. Inside, there is a place of peaceful rest with three scattering meadow shaped as grass pillows. Dynamic path in dialog with water ribbon are symbolizing the infinite cycle of life. Both features are changing constantly, bringing the idea that the life of the grievers in not ending, just changing.
