Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The planned completion of the Prague ring road is a topic that will probably leave no one cold. Highways tend to be major barriers in the landscape, making areas impassable and unfriendly to residents and animals. My work focuses on addressing these impacts. The main concept of the project is to try to heal a landscape that is plagued by constant community development, unsustainable farming on farmland and, not least, major highway construction that is soiling the landscape. The proposal emphasises permeability through the area, vegetation, water, points of interest, community development and landforms that form a noise and visual barrier to the highway.
