Crossroads

The site is located exactly at the crossroads of three historic neighbourhoods of Prague - Vršovice, Nusle and Michle. Thanks to its peripheral location thfunctions manifested here were of a maintanance nature - fields, railroads and later factories and warehouses. Even today, when the city fabric completely surrounds it, this site is fighting fiercly. This however cannot last long now. Due to ongoing massive densification of Prague and growing public transport infrastructure - in this case Metro D station - there is a pressure for redevelopment of locations such as this one. Our task here is to help initiate this change naturally so the individual characteristics can be maintained or even strenghtened. The roaring dynamics of passing trains on one side, calm of a flowing stream on other
