MUNICIPAL APARTMENTS FOR NURSES, DOCTORS AND THE SOCIALLY NEEDY IN ŠAFRÁNKA

The topic of the thesis was the completion of a picturesque village enclave called Šafránka. The goal was to supplement the existing development with new buildings and public spaces that would help bring the location back to life and at the same time offer temporary and long-term housing for Motola health workers, interns and visiting professors. In the center of the locality there is an e aftercare facility, which is used for patients whose lives are no longer threatened, but who require further treatment before returning to normal life. The southern slope is complemented by apartment buildings with starter apartments. For doctors with their families, I am placing a family semi-detached house in the northern part, and hotel-type accommodation is located in the eastern corner in the form of a small solitary building that ends the given enclave.
